During the pandemic, an emergency order extended the expiration of certain licenses until June 26, 2021. This included concealed carry, along with Class G and Class D security licenses.

“Any license that expired during the order period will no longer be considered valid after June 26, 2021,” said Escambia County Tax Collector Scott Lunsford. “You can not legally carry a concealed weapon with an expired license.”

Concealed weapon licenses can be renewed at the Escambia County Tax Collector Molino or Warrington location. Book an appointment by clicking or tapping here.

For questions about eligibility or specific questions about individual records, contact the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services at 1-800-HELP-FLA (1-800-435-7352).

Playtime Over – Florida sheriff says he may deputize gun owners against protesters

“That’s what we’re sworn to do. That’s what we’re going to do. You’ve been warned.”

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Clay County Sheriff Darryl Daniels, no stranger to making viral videos appealing to tough-on-crime politics, released a video Tuesday that said he will make “special deputies of every lawful gun owner in this county” if he feels the county is overwhelmed by protesters.

The three-minute video shows Daniels standing in front of 18 deputies as he derides civil rights protesters as godless disruptors and tells them to stay out of Clay County, a suburb of Jacksonville.

“If we can’t handle you, I’ll exercise the power and authority as the sheriff, and I’ll make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in this county and I’ll deputize them for this one purpose to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility,” he said.

“That’s what we’re sworn to do. That’s what we’re going to do. You’ve been warned.”

Was something special found under the Christmas tree?

We receive numerous word-of-mouth referrals, with students traveling from as far north as Atlanta, Georgia and as far south as Fort Lauderdale and Naples to attend our classes.

However, we have not done a good job in getting the word out that we conduct more than basic ‘concealed carry’ classes.

Although our basic, 5-hour concealed carry training class (CCW 101), is head and shoulders above and beyond any other ‘concealed carry’ class conducted locally and far exceeds the minimum standard for applying for a Florida concealed carry license, by NRA standards, it is considered a basic, orientation, firearms training class.

For your convenience and to make our other self-defense, firearms training classes more understandable, we have packaged several of our classes and displayed them below. Our most basic concealed carry class is only $35 and provides the necessary training for applying for a Florida concealed carry weapons license.

We don’t mind if our competition takes notice and attempts to imitate our training programs, because we know our training cannot be duplicated. We are just that good. It has been said, “It aint brag’n if it’s true.
