ANOTHER CLASS GRADUATED

They will have your back, while you are shopping, dining out, fueling your vehicle or attending church services.

Last weekend we graduated another class of trained public guardian, concealed firearm carriers. They took and completed over 15 hours of firearms training, even though with the change in Florida law taking effect July 1st, they did not have to.

These people completed over 15 hours of advanced firearms training and will have your back, while you are shopping, dining out, fueling your vehicle or attending church services. Unlike many of those about you after July 1st, these people have been trained.

They committed to being trained in the safe and proficient use of their firearm.

Beginning July 1st, in Florida, no training, background check or licensing will be required to carry a firearm in public.

When you decide to receive training beyond that you received in a ‘concealed carry’ class and want to become confident and proficient in the use of your firearm, contact us. It would be our pleasure to prepare you to carry a firearm in public or for home defense.

Firearms training is all we do. We are your neighbors. We are the only NRA chartered, non-profit firearms training organization in central Florida. We are here to serve you.

20 Gunshot Victims Wounded By Their Defective SIG SAUER P320 Pistols, File An Unprecidented Lawsuit Against The Gunmaker

People have been injured by accidental fires from SIG Sauer guns, and they’re people who know how to use them properly—police officers and Army veterans. But when the gun is defective, even the most skilled user can have an accident.

Florida officer’s SIG Sauer lawsuit

Bob Northrop is a decorated veteran and was a Tampa, Florida police officer for 30 years. After returning, he was a reserve officer for 19 years. He was about to become the longest-serving officer for the city of Tampa.

But then his career came to an abrupt halt on February 27, 2020.

Northrop was working an extra-duty job at a high school, patrolling school sporting events. He was walking the ball fields at Jefferson High School and began to attach a set of keys to his service belt. When his hand brushed his holster to attach the keys, his SIG Sauer P320 pistol fired by itself. There were dozens of students just feet away.

The bullet blew apart the bones in his leg and ankle and he required surgery, screws, rods and lengthy rehabilitation. Northrop remained in the hospital for weeks after the accidental shooting.

20 GUNSHOT VICTIMS WOUNDED BY THEIR DEFECTIVE SIG SAUER P320 PISTOLS, FILE AN UNPRECEDENTED LAWSUIT AGAINST THE GUNMAKER

The law firm of to Saltz Mongeluzzi & Bendesky now represents more than 50 victims injured by Sig Sauer’s P320 pistol that features a spring-loaded striker firing mechanism.

Another Class of Trained Public Guardians Graduated

We don’t want to train everyone who wants a concealed carry license.  We only want to train those who are serious about learning how to defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

This past weekend we graduated another class of advanced, concealed carry guardians.  They did not complete just another “concealed carry’ class, like those conducted at gun shows, gun shops or in rented hotel rooms. They completed over 15 hours of advanced, tactical, handgun training.  You read that correctly, over 15 hours.

These advanced, trained graduates will have your back while you are shopping, fueling your vehicle or attending church services.Rest assured, there are trained people out there carrying concealed firearms among you.  They may be far and few between, but they are there.

We make every effort to train as many people as possible.  But, we can only train those who register to be qualified to carry a deadly weapon in public.

We don’t want to train everyone who wants a concealed carry license.  We only want to train those who are serious about learning how to defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones.

Others conduct classes to qualify people to apply for a concealed carry license. We conduct classes to not only to qualify people to apply for a concealed carrry license, we qualify people to carry a deadly weapon in public.

Armed robber shot, killed by customer at convenience store

“. . . the 26-year-old suspect shot by a customer during that attempted robbery.”

July 16, 2022 – By Kelsee Ward and Jordan Gartner – KSLA New 12

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) – Police in Missouri are investigating a violent crime spree in St. Charles that ended with an armed robber being shot and killed.

The St. Charles Police Department reports the crime spree started during the early morning hours on Saturday at a convenience store where a 26-year-old went into the business with a knife and told the clerk he was robbing her.

Police said the man held the knife to the clerk’s throat while she opened the register. He then pushed the clerk to the floor and stole money from the register. He dragged her toward the back of the store, asking the location of the safe.

According to authorities, the clerk did not have access to the safe, so the thief forced the worker to open a second register before stealing that cash and leaving the scene.

Officials said first responders took the clerk to a hospital for lacerations on her left wrist, right hand and neck.

Police said they were on their way to that scene when reports of another armed robbery came in at a Phillips 66 gas station. Officers said they found broken glass that looked like a burglary had occurred.

St. Charles police said a third burglary call then came in regarding an armed robbery at a QuikTrip convenience store where shots had been fired.

According to police, arriving officers found the 26-year-old suspect shot by a customer during that attempted robbery. First responders took the suspected thief to the hospital, where he later died.

Authorities said they interviewed the customer, a 26-year-old man, who told police he stopped at the gas station to use the restroom and buy something. However, he was walking back to his car from the store when he saw a black SUV drive quickly into the parking lot.

The customer said he saw a man carrying a backpack while running into the store and threatening the clerk with a knife, according to police.

Officials said the 26-year-old customer grabbed his gun and went back into the store. He then confronted the thief, who grabbed for his backpack.

According to authorities, the suspect reportedly told the customer, “I have something for you,” and came around the counter when he was shot and killed by the customer.

Investigators said the customer and the clerk were both uninjured in the incident and the suspect’s car came back as stolen in an armed robbery on Friday, with stolen items also found in the vehicle.
