You no longer need a license to carry a concealed firearm in Florida, but that does not relieve you of the responsibility of doing so safely and having the proper training. Allow In-Gauge of Polk County to provide you with that training.

Before registering and paying for the class, I emailed Focused Fire Training to obtain the instructor’s name and qualifications. As of this writing, I still have not received an email response.

The Biden administration has dialed up its crackdown on so-called “ghost guns” by issuing guidance that basically expands the definition of what “readily converted” means in a new federal rule and making more do-it-yourself pistol parts subject to restrictions.

Another Class of Trained Public Guardians Graduated
We don’t want to train everyone who wants a concealed carry license. We only want to train those who are serious about learning how to defend their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
This past weekend we graduated another class of advanced, concealed carry guardians. They did not complete just another “concealed carry’ class, like those conducted at gun shows, gun shops or in rented hotel rooms. They completed over 15 hours of advanced, tactical, handgun training. You read that correctly, over 15 hours.
These advanced, trained graduates will have your back while you are shopping, fueling your vehicle or attending church services.Rest assured, there are trained people out there carrying concealed firearms among you. They may be far and few between, but they are there.
We make every effort to train as many people as possible. But, we can only train those who register to be qualified to carry a deadly weapon in public.

Others conduct classes to qualify people to apply for a concealed carry license. We conduct classes to not only to qualify people to apply for a concealed carrry license, we qualify people to carry a deadly weapon in public.

A Florida hunter safety education certification class will be conducted Saturday, October 15th, in Winter Haven, Florida.
Total Cost: $75
All equipment provided or you can bring your own.
Hunter Safety Education Certification Qualification Class – Shotgun.
This class will provide the practical, hands-on, live-firing of a firearm required to fulfill the training requirements for applying for a Florida hunter safety education certification card.
An official National Rifle Association certificate of training will be issued upon successful completion of the class.
The class size is limited and pre-registration is required.
- Class Time: 9:00 AM
- Location: 3812 Cypress Gardens Road, Winter Haven
- Total Cost: $75
- Equipment:
- Bring your own shotgun or use ours.
- Ammunition will be provided.
- Hearing and eye protection required. Bring your own or use ours.
