The 24th Annual Central Florida Ridge Friends of NRA Dinner & Auction fundraiser will take place Saturday, March 2nd, at the Lake Eva Events Center, Haines City, Florida. All proceeds go to fund youth shooting sports programs. In 2018, approximately $50K was granted to youth programs in Polk County alone and over $550,00 statewide. Such groups that received funding included the Boy Scouts of America, Royal Rangers, 4-H Clubs, Future Farmers of America and JROTC shooting teams.

This event includes both live and silent auctions of new, quality merchandise, games of chance, the guest appearance of Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd and the finest filet mignon steak dinner available in central Florida, guaranteed.

All other local sportsmen’s banquets pale in comparison to the Central Florida Ridge Friends of NRA annual dinner and auction. The Central Florida Ridge Friends of NRA Committee has been conducting these events for 24 years and they know how to put one one.

You cannot have a better time in Polk County on March 2nd than this event.

Admission is by advance ticket sales only. There are no tickets sales at the door.

This event attracts of 450 attendees and is sold out every year. Tickets sales end Monday, February 25th. So, purchase your tickets early.

The Central Florida Ridge Friends of NRA has been conducting these events for 24 years. If have not yet attended one, it is time you do. No other sportsmen’s banquet can compare to the quality of the dinner, the auction times (new firearms and collectibles), games of chance and fun.
This event is KID FRIENDLY. Admission and dinner for kids under 12 is FREE. FREE prizes awarded to all kids under 12 years of age.

Women of In-Gauge take Gold at Polk Senior Games

The women of In-Gauge of Polk County take gold at the 2018 Polk Senior Games’ Pistol Competition

On March 7th, the 2018 Polk Senior Games held its annual pistol shooting competition, attracting both men and women, ages of 50 through 86, from across Central Florida, with 41 registered shooters.

The women of In-Gauge of Polk County competed against woman in the age categories of 50-59, 60-69 and 70-79.​ The top scores were 256 by Judy Flaig (Gold 50-59 women) and 239 by Janet Ergle (Gold 70-79 women – new record)

The women of In-Gauge are eligible to participate in the upcoming Florida Senior Games and are currently preparing.
