On December 14th, 2014 Pastor Terry Howell survived an active shooter incident that occurred in the office of his ministry. Looking down the barrel of a .45 caliber semi-automatic, pointed at him at point blank range, Pastor Howell survived the attack, receiving only powder burns to his face and neck.

Presentation Tuesday, January 22nd

In-Gauge of Polk county will host a presentation by Pastor Terry Howell on his story of surviving an active shooter in his ministry.

Pastor Howell will relate his story and provide suggestions of preparedness and how to avoid a similar “Active Shooter” incident in your place of work, worship, ministry or everyday life.

This presentation is the first in a series of “active shooter” training classes being conducted by In-Gauge of Polk County, an official NRA chartered, non-profit organization and will introduce In-Gauge of Polk County’s 2019 basic and advanced level, NRA “active shooter” training classes, including the nationally recognized Refuse To Be A Victim program.
